JJ turns six!

JJ with his birthday crown from school

He asked for a donut pyramid instead of a cake and I was happy to oblige!

Here he is with all of his presents minus the card he got from Grandma and Grandpa Brown- that came the next day.

We didn't do a friend birthday party this year. I have decided to do those every other year. Planning and hosting a kid's birthday party is not my idea of a good time; it is one of the things I dread as a parent! After we opened presents we took JJ to Boondocks and then to Artic Circle for dinner. It was a fun day!

Love it! All of it! I love birthday donuts, I LOVE the lights at temple square, I love sleepy babies at parties (I'm going to be honest and admit I love sleepy babies period) and the wearing of pants backwards is a must in our house. Seriously, I think I turn Jana's pants around at least once a day. I miss you so much, and I love seeing all the fun pictures of you and your cute little family! Come visit us in Korea, I found a McDonalds we can meet at. :)

I haven't been on here forever! I enjoy reading about your cute fam and your many adventures. I'm glad that you get to talk to your mom while she is on her mission, but you must miss her terribly. I hope you had a great Christmas. Take care!

Can you believe you have a six year old?! He is a handsome one, that is for sure.
I am with you...hosting a bday party is not my idea of a good time...hosting any party for that matter! I would love to skip Parkers this July but he has already been spouting off party plans to me for it... ughh.;) Love the donut pyramid. Sign me up for that one!
